Knowledge Exchange Officer
Sam has a broad knowledge of Aquaculture and Marine Biology from seven years of study: an under-graduate degree in Marine Biology from Plymouth University and an MSc in Sustainable Aquaculture from the Institute of Aquaculture, University of Stirling. He holds a PhD from University of Stirling in fish nutrition and joined SAIC initially as a Project Support Officer and then Knowledge Exchange Officer. He is responsible for knowledge exchange activities on two SAIC managed European Maritime and Fisheries Fund projects. These projects aim to improve fish health and welfare and increase the value of aquaculture to the Scottish economy and society.
